Cupcake Camp is coming to London and we want you to be involved! Cupcake Camp is a free charity event that gives the people of London the opportunity to be a Cupcake Taster or a Baker – both professionals and amateur alike – where they can sample or donate delicious cupcakes all afternoon. The Tasters, Bakers and Cupcakes will take over Camden’s Proud Galleries on Sunday 31st October 2010, 2-5pm. Amidst the live music, London’s only Frosting Bar, and the celebrity-judged Best Cupcake competition (categories include Taste of London, Halloween-inspired and Tastiest Vegan), will be the raffle raising money for the North London Hospice; and that's where you come in!
We want you to be a part of this fabulous, unique event by donating a prize for the raffle. The raffle will help raise funds for the North London Hospice, a charity close to my heart after they looked after the father of the organiser, Daisy Coole, this year. Their vital work relies on £16,000 a day to run, 80% of which is from donations. A donation from you – be it an item, a gift set or a voucher – will encourage people to buy more tickets, raise more money for the Hospice, and more awareness for you!
As a prize donor, your logo will be on our website (
www.cupcakecamplondon.co.uk) and you will be promoted on twitter and facebook to our steadily expanding following. Cupcake Camp has already excited thousands of Bakers and Tasters in New York, Sydney, and Toronto, with attendance reaching 1000. It has already raised huge funds for charity, and now it’s London’s turn, and your turn to be a part of this momentous event.
Please let us know how you would like to be involved. If you have any questions, or your own ideas about taking part, we'd love to hear them! Either via email or directly on the phone, I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
Yours truly,
Amy Butterworth
